I haven't stayed there but have been in and drive past often. It looks fine. Rather grand really. It is on the main road going along the Gold Coast so you do have a bit of a wander to places. it's on the bus route.

I stayed there 2 years ago and it was fantastic! We were even lucky enough to upgraded to the executive suite.
