  1. This is a great resort and if you have the money stay in one of their Casita suites, trust me you will never look back!

When i was there they had 4 restaurants and the Italian is by far the best but you have to book when you are there. The a-la-carte restaurant is ok, but the country specific ones are best. You may also have the option for an evening meal on the beach - my only advice is to take a jumper to cover up, it gets a bit chilly on the beach at night.

The hotel runs a shuttle bus down into the local town which has some good night life and a great night market. Its pretty safe as there are loads of people around but as always when overseas just be sensible with your belongings and stay in the busy areas.

Back to the hotel, we loved it and didnt want to come home, the staff are friendly and the smoothy bar is a great mid-morning thing to do - a little bit of healthyness! The day beds on the beach are also great but you need to be up early to bag one of these.

    Hope this helps

A very jealous answeree wishing it was me going back there!

  2. hello,

look up your hotel on www.tripadvsior.co.uk it has most major hotels on, with feed back from the public. over 1000 reports for the EDR on here! Both good and bad.

Going to Mayan Riviera and the EDR in September myself for Honeymoon the whole area looks great and the weather should be hot!!!!!

TIPS :- take a few $1 bills to tip the local waiters, bar staff and the cleaners.

    have a good holiday.
