I mean against the obvious top three contenders : Federer, Rafa & Djoker.

After the dismall display against Rafa it's a tough call. Then again its kinda hard to tell who is gonna challenge the top 3 dawgs. This is just another sign pointing to the obvious. Djoker, Rafa & Fedex own the tour rite now.

  1. I doubt it but you never know - he may get a new lease of life during the next week.

  2. Roddick is in that 2nd tier of men's pros after the 3 Kings of tennis.  Wimbledon is a good surface for him, I think he's made the Finals twice.  For anyone to get to the Finals, you want to only have 1 King in the same half of the bracket, while facing another one in the Finals.  Otherwise he'd have to beat all 3 guys, which is asking too much.

Roddick's undergone some changes with coaching, and now he's engaged.  I wonder how focused he is on this tennis, since it's not like he's been putting up great results either.

Hopefully it's nothing, I'd like to see him or Blake win a Grand Slam.

  3. I'm predicting he'll lose to some low ranked player in the early rounds.

  4. Well done to Rafa. He`s looked very impressive on the grass, he has adapted well which will be good preparation for wimbledon. Just coming from winning the French and he still doesnt look the slightest bit tired, he`s such a warrior he just keeps on going and going. It`ll be nice for him to relax and chill out when he gets back home :)

    Vamos Rafa x*x

  5. A mild threat at best. I dont see him going past the quarters, if he even gets that far. His serve will carry him through, but he clearly needs to add more to his struggling game, such as a better return, better backhand, consistency during points/groundstrokes, and better timing, slowing down in between points. Much too hyper.

  6. I did not see him as a threat to start with. I don't mean to offend his fans, but the top three seeds are playing so well right now that I don't see anyone stopping all three of them. Even if one of them do lose early, I doubt someone unexpected would overcome the other two to win the title. Sure, roddick might be somewhat of a threat to them and he does have the capability to cause an upset, but I really doubt he'd be able to do it (knock them out) and win the title.

  7. yes, he hasn't got any time practicly in court, with the walkover of murray, he just need to get some more time on court and he'll be right on track again.-

    he'll win wimbly

  8. I believe Roddick has 70% of going through to the finals but he's got a mild chance to win WIMBLEDON .

His weapon for sure is his killer serve. I bet if he utilises it very well and improves his strokes and strategy, he will surely win the title .

  9. I don't think he'll win Wimbledon, but I also wouldn't write Andy Roddick off so quickly either.  He has been the runner-up there twice, and with his serve on grass he'll always be a potential threat.  And I also wouldn't call his play against Rafa today dismal either.  7-5, 6-4 is a pretty close match, just one break in each set separating them, which isn't bad considering how well Rafa played today.
