I'm wanting to see what your Econ 201 Macro principles course objective look like. If you have a syllabus that you would share, I'd be very grateful.

    Though it would probably be more interesting now, what with all the mortgage loan problems and $4 gas and all.

    But, no, not for about 10 years now.

  3. I don't know what you mean by 201...I have a syllabus for Intro to Macro from a course I took last semester at Penn State.  

    COURSE OBJECTIVES:

    *The student will develop an understanding of economic choice, production           possibilities, supply, demand, and equilibrium.

    *The student will study the concept of elasticity.

    *The student will understand the basic motivation for foreign trade.

    *The student will understand market failure and the resulting government              intervention.

    *The student will learn the basics of taxation, unemployment, inflation, debt and    fiscal policy.

    *The student will study economic growth and our standard of living.

    *The student will study our basic monetary system, including saving and                investment.

    *The student will learn basic analytical tools as an aid in interpretation and            evaluation of economic problems.
