  1. AP chem is harder than AP physics

i took both classes last (junior) year and I got 5s on both , 700+ on the SAT2 for both

i am taking : AP Econ(micro or macro dont know yet), APStats, AP Poli SCi, AP Biology (maybe) AP Art history

our school provides a web site for what books are required for the AP classes

  2. My AP Lit class was pretty easy and there wasn't a lot of homework. However, we wrote a lot of essays in class. (I got a 3 on AP Lit, which is what I expected).

AP Chem was easy for me (but I'm going to study Chem in college and it comes naturally to me).

I took AP Macroeconomics and it was really easy. Plus, my teacher was amazing!

AP Physics C was a lot harder than AP Chem.

Last year (my Senior year), I took AP Spanish, AP Stats, AP Lit, AP Calc AB, AP Physics C Mech and E&M, and AP enviro.

  3. Obviously for Chem, eco, and gov't, it's either you know it or you don't, but for lit there are definitely some curve balls test makers can throw at you. Eco and gov't my friends say aren't bad...I don't know anything about lit, but I'm taking chem this year (All my friends told me it's not as bad as physics). Economics apparently was harder (but both weren't too bad)

This year I'm taking english lit, chem, physics (probably B), calculus (probably AB), gov't, eco (not sure about Latin or Environmental Science, considering a lot of the colleges I'm applying to don't even count the env.science/engl. lang/comp and the Latin I hear is pretty much ridiculous)

  4. Last year, my junior year, I took AP Chem (got a 5), AP English Language (got a 3), AP Calculus AB (got a 5) and AP Psychology (got a 5).

As for AP Chemistry, it's not that hard. I received an A in the class, but I worked my butt off for it. My teacher got 100% passing last year so he knows what to teach us, but it's no joke. You need to really commit to the class, just like you would to any other class.

Next year, I'm going to take AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C AP English Literature, AP Biology, AP Government/AP Macroeconomics (Both are taught in the same course in my school).

Since I have had no Physics experience, the teacher let me borrow a CD of the textbook so I can review the basic concepts during the summer. He told me I should be fine because I have had experience in Calculus, so hopefully that will help me.

Also for AP English Literature, I need to read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Pride and Prejudice and also write an AP styled essay on one of the novels.

Hope this helps and good luck :)

  5. Ap English and Gov

  6. Computer science, English, Physics ...might be forgetting one =O

These are my first AP courses so I can't tell you too much. My friend's in AP English this summer. He says it's mostly like the normal course with some added in class work/analysis.
