Anyone that has done IVF please answer??

I posted this yesterday but am looking for more answers!

Ok just a few curious questions!

How many cycles did it take you or have you done?

How many eggs did u transfer?

We are working on getting the money to go for at least one cycle and will go from there!

I haven't gone that far yet as I just started my meds this week.  My egg retrievel is planned for 9/13.  Good luck to you!

i had 12 eggs

5 fertilized

2 embryos was implanted 3 days later

it didn't work.  

it was my first ivf.  i was soppose to have an IUI, but it got converted to ivf because i had too many eggs.  

i don't have any more ivf's planned (unless i produce too much eggs again).  my plan is for an IUI.

I already answered your question, but I wanted to say that earlier some one said it was irresponsible to implant more than 2, and I think just because she was a nurse, doesn't mean she knows the right thing for you in your situation! Talk to your doc about what is best for you!
