I currently work with yachts.

I buy them, sail them and sell them.

I also repair boats, deliver boats and skipper yachts, all over the world and I have done so for 30+ years

There are a great many different types of yachts and a great many different types of work available. What did you mean by your question?

The answer to all those questions is that it depends on the boat and the owner.  Check out the "Triton" and "Dockwalk"

magazines  Both are geared to Yachtie type crews and both have web-sites.  

It is a very interesting dynamic on boats due to close quarters, small amount of people, different levels of responsibility, a lot of off time spent with superiors, owners demands, charter demands, weather, breakdowns, homesickness and on and on...
