i dun think he's worth that much. But nowadays, players moving from 1 BPL to another especially english players are overall made to pay massive transfer fees. So its not so shocking that sunderland was made to pay 8million. i belief that they desperately need a better defensive player who has years ahead of him and also a future england potential player. i think Roy Keane has done a good piece of buiz regardless of the price. He's lucky to have a good Chairman to support him.

Yes,good deal for the Irons... he's not that good...hopefully they can now buy a decent player who is NOT injury prone. Kept us chewing our nails for too long last night Hammers....don't do that again, my nerves won't stand it.

Isn't he Rio's brother? Hopefully he would get to play as good as him. He's pretty much worth 8 million, he will bolster Sunderland's defense and stiffens it up.

Being a west ham season ticket holder i think its good business from west ham, i personally dont think he has progressed much. He thinks he is alot better than he actually is, just like his brother. He is not head and shoulders above the other defenders at west ham, i think its a good buy for sunderland also, it will definately keep competition for places and is a fairly solid player to be called upon when needed. Just hope west ham can get a decent replacement!
