Question:

Anyone think of a hairstyle I can travel in and then attend a wedding with?

I'm going to a wedding on Friday. It's not exactly the most formal affair, but I still want to look nice. I'm travelling tomorrow morning, and I can't take straighteners or curlers with me. That means I need to do something to my hair tomorrow before I leave.

Any hairstyle has to last through 5 hours of travelling via train and foot, followed by a meal out. I then have to sleep in it and attend the wedding the next day!

I have thick, wavy, frizzy layered hair, just below shoulder length. Straightening it before I go isn't possible since it'll be a fuzzy mess again by the time I reach the train station.

Any ideas?

  1. I'd suggest going to a hairdresser if possible to get them to do some sort of style because they seem to be able to make it last forever!  If not I would suggest straightening it before you go and then bring some styling stuff with you like hair pins etc and hairspray what not and pin it up for the wedding

    Good Luck and have fun!

  2. tie it up?

well take a straightener with u

  3. Just Braid it, remember the bride is the focus of attention, not you

  4. I know exactly what you mean when you cant straighten your hair, so my suggestion to you, is that if you have natural wavy hair, then style it with mouse after drying and use hair serum to stop the frizz, and because its naturally curly, there will be no problems with it falling out and it would be easy to do it again the next morning if you wanted with a hair dryer.
