  1. It is highly unlikely that he will win the championship tis year or next year at that. People like Tony Stewart and Jr. and David (ragan) have been running better than he has for weeks, which gives him a little to no chance of a championship. All of the big boys of todya have run better.

  6. I think Gordon will get his 5th championship in a couple years, but I doubt he'll ever reach the 7 attained by The King and The Intimidator.  With today's NASCAR, I doubt anyone does that in my lifetime.

  7. I think he has a shot. I want to see him get more consistent though before the Chase if he has a chance.

  8. Not if he keeps driving like he has been this year.  I dont really see it happening anyway.  for some reason the rookies seem to be getting better and better and I think some of these older guys are going to have to move on over.

  10. The competition is a bit more stiff  than before.  I think he may get another but it certainly won't be this year. Everyone needs to work harder and he is no different.

  11. A few years ago he was going to pile up more championships that #3 but the talent pool has gotten very deep and he will have a really hard time getting #5...............I think he could but it will be mighty tough!!

  12. I doubt it.  I like Gordon, but, he seems to have lost his edge. I hope he gets it back

  13. Well, he would have 6, if it were the old points system. But since NASCAR feels penalizing the best and most consistent driver, you'll never see the deserving driver win the championship.
