I find that any other straightener have bits that always catch my hair and pull bits of it out whereas my GHD's don't.

So yes they do make my hair straighter than any other straighteners because I get fed up having my hair pulled out after straightening  about 3 sections and stop !!

They really don't. They damage my hair the most though, I find that Remington do cheaper and better quality straighteners. Mine even has a special plate to prevent hair damage, it came in at like.. 39.99, and so far it's lasted around 8 months without any complaints from me or my brother.

GHDs are brill.

Mine always keep my hair very straight.

But FHIs are better than GHDs. Especially for styling hair e.g. curling, but GHDs are just as good for straightening.

I don't think so at all!

I've never owned GHDs but my friend straightened my hair with them once and my hair looked and felt exactly the same as my Nicky Clarke ones.

Furthermore, I don't use straighteners at all anymore, because I blow dry my hair straight and this gives it more volume than if I straighten it.

Also, I know someone that straights her hair every day and believe me, her hair is disgusting! It's got split ends right near the roots of the hair and that is not a good sign. It's very dry and whenever she curls it it doesn't stay like it 'cause she straightens her hair too much.

Please, if you use GHDs have at least one day break from using heated styling products. :)

Yes! I have had one for about a year and a half now and love it and wouldn't use anything else! Everyone I know pretty much has one and nothing else too! x
