Anyone think vandort should be dropped he is not doing good?

michele vandort  is a very good crickerter he has a good tech nick in his batting he is a very good crickerter silva and tharanga are also very very very crickerters.

Michael vandort is a very good opening test batsmen, he's come a long way. Really impressive cricketer, he should not be dropped. Sri Lanka have a lot of confidence in him, so i don't think he will get dropped.

Silva should maybe be given a chance, but i don't feel he's consistent enough, same with tharanga. Silva has been outt sorts since the CB series really, he got a start in the Asia cup once i think. Undoubtedly he's a good cricketer though.

I would actually say drop Waranapura  and the opening spot should be taken by Sangakkara.Replace waranapura with Chamara Kapugedara as the numbe 3 o 4 batsman in the side.Maybe even Chamara Silva is a good choice for number 4 spot,that means Mahela would have to bat at 3.

Waranapura deserves the spot and he hasn't failed but there are much more talented batters in the squad.At least in the very near future this might happen.

Vandort is excellent,he should not be dropped as long as he peforms.

IMO, he is the sixth best in batting form now - after Mahela, Sanga, Warnapura, Samaraweera and Dilshan. Chamara Silva as a batsman is lower than Vaas as a batsman. Since they need only 4 bowlers (actually two spinners are enough, but have two pacemen for convention purpose), they can have 6 batsmen and one keeper. So, Vandort remains. If a day comes when they would like to have 5 bowlers, Vandort will have to go. He is a borderline case.
