NO first of all I belive hitting Arod was an accident and Joba threw a Kevin Y on purpose.... If he threw at either of them it would be a brawl and if ortiz was put on the dl again b/c of it there would be suspensions of 10 days+

it would not be wise to do. Tempers are flaring so much right now, and heads are about to explode; retaliating at this point in the season will lead to a brawl, which would lead to suspensions, which would lead to the Rays taking the division.

ponson will not be afraid to hit someone if he feels like it and i will say how bad sox fans are because they are complete morons for cheering when it looked like A-Rod was seriously hurt. Yanks fans did not cheer at the Stadium last year when Youk almost got hit. U guys should be ashamed of ur selves. I don't blame u for hitting A-Rod considering whats been going on. But to cheer for it is absloulty horrible. U guys only cheered because u know him getting hurt is the only way for u guys to win. I felt the same way when Jets fans cheered when pennington got hurt its the same thing even though im a packers fan who lives in NJ. I really don't see that happening.  After seeing the replay several times, I don't think A-Rod was hit intentionally, so there is no reason for retaliation.  When pitchers hit someone intentionally, they throw below the waist, not that high.  Also, the Yankees are more concerned with winning games right now.

But I doubt the Yankees will hit anyone. If they do, the benches will clear and there'll probably be a fight. Just look what happened with the Red Sox and the Rays.
