Why do you have doubt in his ability or the quality of leadership that he poccessed may be it it not relevent  in todays time but, our leaders have to rise to his level of maturity and ability to see the nation and the mankind as a whole that is why he is a mahatma and others just are behind vote bank  politics. I will be the first to support the one who say principles are bigger than votes .if sitting in the power is the only criteria than it is not how ,long you sit but what you are able to do.Iin13days what shriVajpayeeji delivered even sixty years of congress are yet to deliver. it is not how long you live but how live that counts.in his 50yearswhat the mahatma achieved is record for all generations to come and, to learn from.After giving  him the status of father of the nation you are heaping such an insult on him that is only the strength of democracy or freedom of speech for which he fought for throughout his life so that  generations after  like you can heap dust on him . maa thuge sallam. if this is the patriotism of the generations certainly we have a good future. in any civilised country no where in the world a man have you see

have you ssen any french insulting  napolean banopereate,or any british  insulting queen victoria, any american insulting george washington. after honouring any person to a high status you should not throw him down. if you do not find him capable you should not have elevated him to that stature.

mahatma gandhi this is the only name and the mantra that pulls huge votes even 60years  after his death . his name is used by the family who are not in any way his legal heir just to fill the ballot boxes. even after his death he is helping congress and even when he was alive he lived a congress

man. just as the saying goes elephant is dollars worth even if it  lives or dies.
