Anyone tried Crispy Fried Fish in a Can?

I was in my local Asian market the other day, and saw this can of "Fried Fish with Chili", which i thought looked interesting, so I picked it up. Usually when it comes to fish in a can, i already know what i'm going to do with it (as i love a good tuna salad sandwich or Salmon Patties). But this time, i'm not sure if i should eat it as is, or if I should mix it with something?

  1. I've never seen anything like that before.  As posted before, I am also unsure how anything "fried" could be canned and maintain it's fried consistency.  I love canned oysters, clams, sardines, and tuna.

If I saw such, I would probably have purchased it as well.  Only thing I would recommend is try eating it straight-up, and then decide what it would best be paired with.  Canned oysters and clams we eat straight out of the tin, and, of course, use canned tuna in dishes.

    Interesting!

  2. I'm not tried.

  3. cannot understand how anything in a can would be crispy

but fish and chilli go well together, so it could be interesting

i would open it and see what you have 1st, kinda difficult to predict whats its going to be like, once you know what you have, THATS when you work out the possibilities

i havent come across this so i'm not much help sorry

but you have got me curious now lol!
