  1. Every time a company comes out with some new type of technology, it always has loads of bugs and glitches. Just look at the iPhone.

I'm not going to bother with it until it's been out for at least a year. I'm quite happy with Opera.

  2. Yup last night

  3. As with fun and games... above, give me the Opera web browser for security, speed, flexibility and customisation ability any day.  Chrome is buggy, and just copying many of Opera's features and Opera's claim as the fastest web browser.

It's a small download, which is refreshing, and it's reasonably easy and intuitive to use, and I like the features, such as Tabbed browsing and having your 9 most frequently visited sites as small micro-pages on a single page - similar to Opera's 9 page 'Speed Dial', where you choose which 9 sites to have available at the push of a button - I have loved speed dial since it was introduced, and use it all the time.

So, a reasonable start, not had any crashes but I won't use Gmail at all, and probably not continue with Chrome, due to Google's collection of information about me, which I detest.  BTW, why is this in the Yahoo Search area of Answers?  You may get more answers if placed elsewhere.

Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob

  4. Hello,

(ANS) My first impressions are Google would love EVERYONE to use their browser because that way they can Track your user habits online. Ha!! there is no such thing as a free Google lunch of course.

**I DON'T like the interface much it lacks any elegance in my opinion.

**But I do have to admit its definitely going to give Microsoft a run for the money in the browser wars & will probably win a considerable % of end users. But I don't see myself using it, I'm far to suspicious of Googles motives I'm afraid I'll be sticking with FireFox & Opera for now.
