  1. We've been trying a year and a half.  I'm in treatment now doing Clomid + injectables + IUI.  We have funds for maybe another cycle and that's it.

The problem is, without proper testing and diagnosis, you could keep spinning your wheels forever.  Tracking your temps and doing OPKs isn't going to get you pregnant if you have sperm issues or a blocked tube. Try to figure out a way to get tested so you know what the problem is, maybe save for a few months... or whatever will work for you guys.

The good news is, it may be an easy fix once they figure it out.

    Good luck.

  2. honestly stop thinking about it... my and my husband tried for 2 years before we had our first one... and the month i stopped wantin a baby so we can just be a couple is when i got pregnant... it aint when you want the baby its when God will give you the joy of them

  3. Hi, we've been trying for a liitle over 2 yrs now.  We have both been to doctors and now we know what's wrong, how to fix it is the problem...

If you can, try to have the male tested first before you going to a fertility center, it's definately cheaper that way.

Also, there are lots of products to use to try and boost fertility... my husband's using FertileAid available on that site and ebay.

No matter how hard you try, it'll be worth it in the end. Good luck to you and to all!

  4. I have for almost 6 yrs

  5. Yep, we're inalmost the same boat. TTC for 16mos. Only problem w/ is that here (in BC, Canada, not sure where you others are from) we have to wait one year before getting any fertility testing (21day progesterone, sperm analysis) in order to recieve fertility drugs (even Clomid) so my hubby & i tried for 10mos, and we were REALLY waiting til that 12mo point where we could get help. Then i concived. Only problem is i miscarried! So, now the doc did our testing and we are apparently fertile but the m/c was 5mos ago and we still have not concived again! And the docs tell us we must wait one MORE full year of unsuccessful trying after the m/c to get a referral to a fertility clinic!!

Im so upset, as my husband's extended benefits cover $15,000 worth of fertility drugs so now all i need is the referral and we were SO CLOSE then i had the heartbreaking m/c and now have to wait another 7mos before recieving help!!! All i want it Clomid to regulate my cycle so i have an easier time TTC!!!!!! ARGH!

Good luck to you, im not happy for your troubles at all but im glad to not feel alone in this frustration!!  =(

  6. i was also ttc for over a year. i eventually found out that i wasn't ovulating, was put on clomid, and got pregnant. having a baby without insurance might be VERY expensive however. so hopefully you can figure that out first.

    good luck :)

  7. Yep, I'm at year #2.  At 18 months, I got pregant with a tubal pregnancy.  Still working on TTC, though.  And, our insurance doesn't pay for it either.  So, we're limited in what we can do.  Femara and IUI's only.  This is our last month trying with medical help.  Can't just keep throwing money away.  :(

I hope your story goes better than mine----good luck and baby dust!

  8. WE two are over a year trying to concieve.  I also had a tubal pregnancy back in march and lost that tube buecause it had started to split.  So good luck and baby dust your way : )

  9. My hubby and I have been trying for 3 years with no luck. It is really devastating. Every time I miss my period and I get my hopes up just for it to come a week or two later. Have your husband go and get checked and start to rule things out. I quit charting and doing the OPK's. It was getting to be to much and we wernt enjoying the s*x part as much because it was always timed and on this day blah blah blah. Maybe try to just take a break and when you least expect it, it might happen. I wish you the best of luck hun and keep your hopes up. God will bless us with a child when he feels its right. Baby dust to you and everyone else.!!

  10. I'm in the same boat as you sweetie.I'm constantly on here looking for answers and everything. I'm really wanting a baby, esp since my husband already has a child. I finally went to get a consultation and the start of some testing. It's very stressful, but once you know what's wrong sometimes it'll help you for the next time. Good luck.
