Question:

Anyone up for going on holiday?

So all my friends are either skint, unemployed, too irritating or problematic to go away with or already have holiday plans. What do I do for a holiday?

I need to get out of the UK for somewhere nice and warm. What do you all do when you need a holiday but don't have anyone to go with? Does anyone know of places designed for people like me.

To be honest, I kind of fancy just going away alone, getting my head together and being free and independent, yet having a holiday. Anyone have any recommendations or stories to tell?

Thanks.

  2. Tenerife is the place for you.Good night life, fairly cheap, warm, friendly, plenty to do.You can get action if you want,or stay away from it if you dont. i loved it.

  3. you should go to india. its amazing, the south parts, in kerala. they have ayurveda relaxtion places, which are really good for chilling out and getting your head together. look it up!

  4. ya, go to India -to the south  -cochin, in kerala, or kanaykumari in tamil nadu and spend some time at the Vivekananda memorial out in the sea. that will get your head together in peace and lots of sun.

go on -u will make friends on the way or when u are there...

  6. Ok, this will probably sound like a strange suggestion at first, but I'd strongly recommend Iceland.

Yes, it does sound a bit icy, but at the moment (till about September-ish) its really warm. I went there on my own for 2 weeks and there was so much to keep me busy and occupied I didn't even think about home or other people. You can climb mountains, see waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers.... and the crime rate is so low, it's very safe for people travelling alone.

It's not too far away, so it doesn't take hours and hours to get there, and the plane fare is quite cheap. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Let's face it, you can go the Costa del Sol anytime, but for a holiday to just be free and independent, it really is amazing
