  1. We love them!  They have made so much difference in my son's schoolwork.

What I love is that they are complete, well-researched, and easy to put together; they are also completely customizable.  Your child can draw a picture, write bullet points, or write out paragraphs, depending on what their level is; the Type It In feature is also great for older kids, as well as for kids that are dictating (mom or older sib can type instead of write).

I have many of their packs, and I have yet to find one that I or my son (going on 10) is displeased with.  I have friends that use them with kids that range in age from preschool to high school (either different packs or a multi-level pack).

All in all, I would say their products are completely worth it.  And with the Black Friday Sale coming up...even more so!

    Hope that helps :-)

  2. My kids are making the Thanksgiving lapbooks this week!  The materials are great, but a lot of similar things can be done more cheaply on your own if you have the time to hunt down the resources.  So it just depends on your needs at the time, save some money, but spend a lot of time---or save some time and spend some money?

The materials are great though, and make lapbooks much easier to do.

For an example of what can be done on your own without purchasing a kit see http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/PathofL...
