Anyone using an on-board hydrogen generator that works as a fuel addative?

It is used mainly in semitrailer trucks from what I've heard. The multi-thousand dollar expense does not produce a good enough enhancement to mpg for common non commercial vehicles.

And I'm talking about Hydrogen fuel injection, a system that injects a bit of hydrogen into the air intake for small and moderate gains to mpg.

I've studied this extensively. It's called hy-boosting. 5-7% of the energy the car consumes must come from hydrogen. When that target is reached, any liquid fuel can be used. You can burn diesel, ethanol, methanol, vegetable oil, propane, natural gas or any other combustable liquid. This happens only because the hydrogen makes the liquid burn at about 10 times faster. So basically, you inject hydrogen gas at the point of fuel injection and you can burn any fuel in that engine. I watched a video of some guy doing the math to see if you could generate the needed hydrogen from the electricity coming from the car's alternator. It's not possible, but if you have a cylinder of hydrogen in your trunk you can do it. Plus hy-boosting gives you about 20 more miles per gallon.

If u are talking about in a car it is against the law. Any fuel that the road tax must be paid.

Yes  I built my own but not just using 12 volt I'm using a 110 volt inverter and getting twice the amount of H and O . I do not store it because its to explosive when mixed . I have a switch hooked to the accelerator when pushed to a certain level it turns on it makes allot of difference in mileage . It all depends on the size of your hydrogen generator.
