Lots of great, 100% natural hotsprings that you can drive to , camp at or backpack to in N.California, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada.

A really good book for starts is " Hot Springs and Hot Pools of the Southwest" by Marjorie Gersh-Young, Pub: Aqua Thermal Acess.

Great descriptions, info about camping, good directions and fairly comprehensive.

You need to come to Hot Springs, Arkansas. The town is renowned for its 147 natural hot springs that have been used for hundreds of years. There are many bathhouses here with special spas that use the unfiltered naturally clean, mineral-rich, hot water for luxury baths and hydrotherapy.
