Anyone volunteer at Big Brothers/Big Sisters?

If so, please tell me your experience and any advice you have would be wonderful. I'm having quite a hard time dealing with my litltle sister.

Don't kick yourself around.  It is hard to deal with kids.

You can't really tell them not to do something because there is no legal way to make them when their not yours, and a good share of children that need a Big Brother or Sister already have more problems then the average kid anyway. Note I didn't say all kids.

I suppose you just try to do things with them and punishment would have to be you just stop and take them home when they won't obey.  

If you decide you can't cope just don't do it.  Don't make yourself crazy.

I know you are a good person just because you really want to help children.  Maybe there is another way, like helping in a group situation.
