Anyone want to pay respect to Australia? ?

I am supporting Team GB at the Olympics and I am pleased with how the team are doing.

But I have to say that the greatest sporting nation (at these Olympics and generally) continues to be Australia who relative to population size out-punch their weight many times over.

Yeah I sure am proud of every single Aussie over there doing their thing to compete & win against the best out of other countries. Their the heroes of our country when the Olympics are on and are so happy the way they are going. Go Australia!!

I think Australia is indeed one of the greatest sporting nations. I am not Australian (and I'm not American either) but I do acknowledge the fact that relative to its population size the performance of the Australian team is certainly a serious contender, especially in water sports. There some sports, however, in which Australian performance is not that bright, for example soccer or gymnastics, but overall I must admit that Australia is indeed a very strong sporting nation.

I admire the Aussies for their sportsmanship.  They always seem so grateful, proud and humble.

Americans tend to get more arrogant the more medals they win.

Thank you from this Aussie. It's good to see someone still has respect for Australian sportsmen & women, though a certain group in another section of YA have done their best to tarnish our names.Like all Aussies, I have been disappointed by certain results, especially the men's swimming team, but by & large I am proud of our athletes.

Gotta love us! And to be honest, this hasn't really been a great Olympics for us either, we should of won some events where we only silvered in..but i suppose maybe our media overhypes our athletes.
