Question:

Anyone watch Australia A vs Tonga yesterday? Does it show Aussie Rugby is alive & well?

Scoreline 90-7, the Tongans looked 'bigger' across the field and were no match, they should have been playing a Club side like Parramatta, not West Harbour who could have ran in a similar scoreline.

Also how good was Timan Tahu ? Amazing....

  1. Tonga lost to Japan

  2. I watched it lol. That was shocking, thats not tongas best team I thought, but Aus played really well. Tahu is mean but i like him better in league lol.

  3. Finally some depth in Australia Rugby...we need it badly.

  4. the aussie a are doin well but wallabies just scraped past ireland?? i think deans need to bring in tahu to da wallabies

  5. They might have looked bigger but that doesn't equate to fitter.  There were some pretty big boys out there that looked a little short of gallop.

First half certainly was a Tahu masterclass. Really nice to someone who can beat a man (several actually) and pass the ball.

  6. the depth might be there, might!but the quality especially in the forwards remains to be seen as there is still a massive question mark on the wallaby pack.that was not the tongan side that did well at last years world cup & the game was a right off considering the world cup stars were'nt there as semi professional players from the island comp took their places.yes tahu is amazing but his best position is easily 13,just let him play there & let his natural ability take over but in that game he was'nt tested so we move on.

there's one or two forwards that have a go at the break down but the aussie pack needs to get aggressive & hunt as a pack & use some good ol' counter rucking to dominate packs but they just don't do that.may be it's not in em!

  7. Australia have always had depth.  Its good to see Tahu playing good rugby.  I agree to bring him into the Wallabies, the experience alone of being in that envoriment would give him only more confidence (as if he hasn't already been in that envoriment), Tahu will be class and I think he has the X factor that Aussie have been missing for a while.  However I must add Robbie Deans is not silly man so he must have a plan.  Go the AB's and good luck for the tri-Nations!!!!!
