Anyone watch the Sydney v Essendon Match?

It wasnt telecasted in WA and Fox isnt running it til midnite..

I watched the live updates but I was just wondering if it was a case of Bombers not playing well or Swans ripping it up?

I mean I know it was a thrashing but wat happen, it seemed the Dons just stood by and watched Swans play footy?

It was **** bombers just gave up in the third quarter. Swans suck

Bombers just no were near up to the swans and maybe it will a last place this year

Bombers got within a couple of goals in the 3/4 and you felt they had a chance if the Swans dropped off, Swans were down for the first 3/4 but Roos must have given them a rocket cos they came home strong in the final 1/4.

Bombers - showed character

Swans - showed class

M.O'Louglin -  only second time he has kicked 5 or more goals in a game and shows  he is stepping up for Barry Hall.

Swans were great, Jarrod Moore was awesome, and Mickey O was great also. Swans outclassed them in every aspect of the game. They tackled hard, won the hard balls and kicked straight.

And as for the Richmond supporter, I do see what you mean, But the Swans are a great team, The way they play wins them footy matches. Premiers 05, runner up 06, Premiers 08 (fingers crossed) It can be frustrating, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The Bombers didn't just give up in the 3rd quarter, the swans simply played an attacking game for one quarter then once again played their boring shut down footy till 10 minutes to go and opened up with some running attacking footy, same stuff they have doing since roo's took over from  Eade.

if we took a toll, i guarantee it would be voted that they are the worse team to watch, not counting you swans supporters of course, but they are just boring, what annoys me is they are as good as anyone to watch when they get the order to take em on and play on at all cost etc, then they shut down, put numbers around the ball and it's just pack feast, nothing happens.
