Anyone who's been to Atlantis in the Bahamas?

My bf is working on winning us a trip to Atlantis through his business and I'm so excited I'm praying that we get to go.

What's it like? Are there lots of things to do and places to go? I looked @ the pictures they had on their website for ther company and it looks beautiful.

I have been there and people think it is awesome because it is in nassua the capital of the bahmas but it suckz i hate it ...not worth the money...but i love going to abaco..it is quiet ,pretty and fun

It's supposedly very nice, but also very expensive - not only the rooms, but the food, too.

i was there last summer and i must say everything about the atlantis is BEAUTIFUL! there is PLENTY to do! there is the casino,aura night blub,all the water activities,a nightly free movie,a comedy show (im not sure if it still is there),and there is a shopping disterict inside the hotel and on the outside. i spent most of my time at the atlantis but we did venture out into the town a few days. there is a great little market but i cant remember what its callede. hope you go!!! :)

The website is a great picture of how Atlantis is.  It is beautiful, there is so much to do, you'll never get tired of being there!  The restaurants are a bit on the expensive side, but all the food is excellent, the atmosphere is fun, and authentic, most companies that attend conferences have alot of great activities planned that really let you enjoy the resort.  

Check out Aquaventure water park - it's fabulous!

I have been three times and I love it!!

The resort in incredibly beautiful.  There is so much to see and do that you don't ever have to leave the resort.  There are several pools, bars, restaurants, a comedy club, the hotel staff can book excursions (on and off the property).

The only downside for me was the price...  kinda expensive...  if you are looking to save $$$, you may want to book at a nearbye hotel (there are several within minutes of Atlantis)  many of them offer day passes that you can purchase, so that you can have access to areas at Atlantis.
