When i read an article on it a few days ago I was so pissed off and I really hate E.on now, even though them towers are the cooling towers of an old shut down power station, they show what Sheffield is all about, manufacturing steel and being well known for for its once thriving industry, they're a land mark and as soon as they get knocked, well for me Sheffield will be nothing. I've grown up knowing them towers since I first ever went to Meadowhall. I admit they may be ugly and they aren't the best things to see as you come off the M1 motorway into Sheffield, but they're part of Sheffield and if I ever have any I'd love for my kids to be able to see them but that'd probably never happen. God if it would keep them towers up and standing I'd actually pay E.on a tax of some sort cos Sheffield without the Tinsley Towers, well it just isn't Sheffield.
Are you upset that the Tinsley Towers are gonna be knocked down?
