I'm 16w5d and haven't exactly felt the baby move yet. I'm very small - only 108lbs and I figured that I might notice something soon but nothing yet. I'm not impatient as this is my first pregnancy and I'm not quite sure what I should be feeling. But just wanted to know everyone else's experiences.

Please tell me your very first experience with any baby movement and at what week did it occur? Thanks! :)

  1. At first it was like little butterflies but when I was 4 mths I got my first kick and I puked!  I was so happy about it too!  Hang in there you will feel it soon, but what sucked was that I couldn't share it because my hubby couldnt feel it yet:(

  2. I felt one big flip in week 18, regular movements by about week 22.

Some women don't feel anything until week 26 - seriously. So don't stress. It's worth the wait. We're 6 months pregnant now and she's starting to kick me in the back. It's bittersweet!

  3. I was 17 weeks when I felt my daughter move for the first time. Which at first I wasn't sure that it was the baby but it was, this is my first pregnancy. I was sooooo happy to feel her. Now I am 30 weeks and she really moves a lot and it hurts sometimes but it feels wonderful to feel your baby move. It will come soon, believe me.

  4. i felt mine at 15 wks but i think its normal to not feel it until 18-22

  5. I felt my first baby move around the 20 week (like tingling sensations) but i felt the second baby moving before-at around 16 weeks

  6. I felt my baby move at 14 weeks..And this is my first child..It felt very light..Little flutters..You must be very still..Like laying in bed at night..You should feel it soon..It will be very low in the abdomin

  7. Some women, especially if it is their first child, don't feel the movement that early. Between 18-20 weeks it is common to feel more kicking or little hiccups. WIth my first baby I felt it around 19 weeks, this time I felt movement early on about 15 weeks.  Each pregnancy is different, don't worry I'm sure you'll feel the baby soon enough.
