Didnt work as a temp but as permanent staff and the temp xmas staff were given uniforms, and theres a good chance you may even be kept on afterwards as well.

They are OK to work for, stores are usually busy at this time of year, and there is plenty of overtime if you are interested.  I worked in a small store in Scotland and we had a great team there.  If the store you applied to have Christmas Nights, they are great fun.  Depending on what department you will be placed in, I was in Books then in Stationary, but theres always something different going on and lots to learn.

yes. i had a shirt, which i lost, so they gave me a tshirt, and said i could have as many as I wanted! not bad, eh?
