Im going into grade 9. And i have 4 subjects first semester than 4 for the other and im going to be using the saem binders for both semesters. So im thinking of getting seperate binders for each class. not like those zip up ones but files i guess. But what size binder should I get for each class? 2" seems a bit big so is 1.5" okay for each subject? thanks.

  1. each teacher wants diff things so check with them some require there own folder

  2. Get the 2'' because you'll probably have a lot of work to do.

  3. So that you could use most of your binders for both semesters, buy the 1.5" one. But during my grade nine years, I had to buy a bigger binder for math 'cause our teacher gave us lots of notes, plus we had lots of problems to solve and graph. I suggest you buy the 2" one for math, and depending on other courses about how much notes your teacher gives you per day. I only used the 1" ones for electives because we don't get that much notes. Or you could even use one binder for two courses, I merged both Gym and Art into one binder. Hope this helps you!

  4. Yeah 1.5 is the standard. Usually freshman use 1" I've seen. You don't need those huge binders till you're almost out of high school

  5. i used 1"  in grade 9. You really don't need 2": too big!  In my junior year of high school, i started to use 2" only for classes like biology and chemistry (alot of notes).
