Ok, for about the last twenty four hours I've had hot and cold shakes.... continually. I have a pounding headache at the back of my head. My neck is killing me and I'm achy all over. I've barely eaten anything and I have a temperature of 38 degrees celcius. My throat is quite sore, my eyes swollen. I keep getting pins and needles everywhere and when I stand up I go dizzy and have to wait for a minute before I can move anywhere.

What the h**l is wrong with me? Do I have Glandular Fever? Can't you only catch that through kissing?

  1. Glandular fever is a viral disease that spreads through the saliva or articles infected with germs from saliva.

The symptoms and signs are high fever, sore throat, enlargement of tonsils, headache , nausea, swollen painful glands of the neck, and sometimes jaundice.

No antibiotic or medicine cannot kill the virus and in many cases the disease resolves with rest and symptomatic

    treatment.
