Anyone who has moved from USA to KSA!?

Question

What company did you use to move your things and can you give me all the info about your trip, etc.

My husband & I are having trouble bc everyone seems shady with the price and move. We do not know what to do at this point and we need this FAST (we wanted to be out of here this Friday).

Please any help would be appreciated!

Whatever you ship is fine, but don't ship your car!!

I brought my car from the US, and now I cannot find any parts for it.  I got into an accident last year and I had to bring the fender and headlights from the US.  Even the Toyota dealership refused to look at my car when I had mechanical problems because of American standards are different than here.

Just check with your local Masjid and I am sure you will find many families who did what you want to do.  I remember many Saudi families who shipped their stuff when moving back to Saudi Arabia.  Some families even rent a whole container and share it with someone and split the cost.

OH.. I cant honestly remember the one I used.. I do remember we opened up the phone book, looked in the yellow pages and found one that shipped out of Houston Texas.. (I was in Oklahoma at the time) and we shipped bedroom and living room furniture over..

this was by sea.. I wish id paid more for air now cause it took 6 weeks to get it.. and we had to sleep and sit on the floor till it came.. lol
