i start today.. they said i'm going to be working front counter.. i'm really nervous.. is it hard?

nah its not hard...can be fun...you'll enjoy it...given the rest of the staff are a good crowd! :-s

No, it's not hard. I worked at McDonald's and all you really have to do working the front counter is ring up orders, give the change, provide the cups and whatever else they've ordered. Then you'd have to straighten out the lobby (sweep, mop) and restock condiments, napkins. And you also have restroom duty. It's really not so bad or hard. Don't be nervous....just repeatedly say to yourself..."I'm gonna do great, I'm gonna own this job and I'll be the best worker in here..." And you'll be okay.
