Anyone who knows the areas and places in bangalore plz help !?

me and my fiancee are moving to bangalore his office is in ITPL(near whitefeild) my office is in vasanth nagar(palace road),can anyone suggest some areas which is common and centre place for both of us with good bus frequency or train facility we dont know anything about bangalore and dont have a clue where to get the house for us...plz help

Domlur will be the center point for both ITPL and Palace road (Actually palace road will be close from Domlur area). You can get a 2 bedroom apartment for Rs, 8K to 10K per month in Domlur. Once you are in Bangalore don't forget to check out Bangalore guide at http://www.khojbin.com/Karnataka_Bangalo... for things to do and near by attraction. Of couse first settle in there:)

ITPL and Palace road are extremely far from each other. if you choose to stay near to any one of this place, travelling to the other point would make it extremely tough (unless you have a company bus/cab). its about 20 kms between the 2 places.

If you're looking for an economical place (mind you Bangalore per se is expensive)...  try areas like Domlur, Murugeshpalya (near airport road Leela palace) or any area around this... there are many. This would mean 8-12 kms for both of your office from this point.

if you have a higher budget, then koramanaga, indiranagar is in same surroundings but with higher rents. this again is 11-13 kms from both places.

All these places have good access to bus facility for both ITPL as well as Palace road.

I feel Domlur could be appropriate for both. Both these places are exactly opposite to Domlur

Pik up a house on old airport road, (domlur area)...Or Indranagar (old madras road annex) thats midway beween ITPL and vasantnagar..

U have busses both ways and Auto fare would be about 60 to 70 rupees both ways.

There are no trains....

Domlur, Kodihalli n Murgeshpallaya may well be the place for you guys...the distance to both of your offices will almost be same...houses are also available on rent around these places.

yashvanthpura is near palece ground...........there have all facility like room,bus etc.
