I loved this radio station, it was all new country. I went out of town for 2 weeks and came back to turn on the radio to Platinum 96.7 Larry Dickenson or something like that who plays oldie songs. Did 96.7 merge with 96.3 KSCS because the old 96.7 website is the 96.3 website. Please help fill me in!!

  1. Yes, I believe they did merge with 96.3 because one day on the Twister they were playing KSCS commercials and telling you to listen to them and then the next day the Twister was gone.  I am bummed too!

  2. they did not merge, but since they were sister stations, KSCS wanted to keep the twister listeners which is why KSCS now has the Texas country segments. Citadel did not like the ratings of the Twister and did not feel they needed to similar stations in the same market I suppose... If you had been listening to the Twister since the end of May or so you would have heard all the commercials endorsing KSCS and saying the the Twister was going off the air. it sux but you can get Texas Country on KSCS or elsewhere if you look for other Texas country stations. The radio industry is going to p**p currently, and every broadcasting company is making changes to get higher ratings and increase revenue its just a fact of life.
