so im married now, just recently, but i was raped the ngith before my wedding:/...and they my husband stil wants me to do a rape check becasue i was a virgin right until then becasuse i was waiting for marriage...can they tell if im still a virgin, or was, what about dna, i dont know if like spermicide from condoms would be there? how can the gynotoligist tell...or can they....thank you guys, pelase only people that have facts...

Depending on how long ago the rape occurred, a rape test may be important for a few different reasons.  First: The collection of DNA evidence to prosecute the offender.  Second: A determination as to whether bacteria or a sexually transmitted disease was transferred to you, and treatment (if necessary).  I would check with your doctor and see if a rape test can be performed given the amount of time that has passed.  Your doctor may still want to test you for ST D's.

In some cases where the crime occurred within a few weeks a video taped recording of the examination is created (by a doctor) to preserve the evidence of the crime (you will not be identified in this video). This is for additional doctors and attorneys to use (if needed) in court.

As for being a virgin, spiritually and emotionally you still are. However if there was penetration, your hymen has most likely been broken, so physically you are not. If a gynecologist were to examine you they can tell you if your hymen is broken, but not "when".

I believe the cowardly act that took your virginity "physically" cannot also take the physical, spiritual and emotional experience that you and your husband will share together.

In that sense you are very much, still a virgin...

Hun, unfortunately you technically wont be a virgin. What a horrible thing to happen.  As for the rest, I'm really unsure what you are asking They also would not be able to tell if you were a virgin or not. Once the hymen os broken, its too hard to tell.
