Anyone will to share personal Ghost stories?

Question

I am in the process of writing a book. I am including a chapter on "local" ghost stories from people like you who have experienced them or close to someone who has. I have set up a web site so you can post there and add photos if you want. Also if the story is NOT pertaining to you, do NOT use real names. Here is the web address if you want to leave a story.

My expierences

2003- Woke up in middle of night and heard evil laugher beside me no one was there

Christmas 2005- Took pictures and found a orb in 4 pictures and my grandparents died that year

December 2007-Heard a big thud followed by footsteps and a red dot came on my smoke alarm but it did not go off. ( had the expierence with smoke alarm a lot just not with the thud or footsteps

Last week- I saw a lady past by the opening in my kitchen and I did see the lady I saw the dress it was a pearlish color. I went out to see what it was no one was there. My sister was sleeping my mom was out and it was to big to be one of my pets.

Last night- I heard a quick little babies giggle right beside me

I am ghost hunter and it still questions me but the city I live in is on a NAtive American burial ground. I do not use a Ouija board

Back in December I was in Mexico with my family in our house over there. And every night I would stay out late with this girl I was dating. My mom would always tell me not to stay out late because the street I live on was supposly haunted (according to the locals). Every time I would come home around 1-2AMish I would remember what she said but I really didn't believe in that c**p. One night I came home and locked the street door. I had to take a p**s so I turned around and do my thing and all of a sudden the freaking door opens and in my head im like its just the wind (but that little voice in my head was like "YOU LOCKED THE DOOR" I turn around to see how the door got open and outside was a black dog on its 2 back legs starring at me I slam the door and ran in...the whole funny thing about it is I didn't learn my lesson and kept coming home late thats when the real scary **** happened!!!

It just happened a few days ago I was lazing in bed and got up because i could not sleep when i herd two little girls giggling then at the foot of my bed where two twins i asked them how they got in but all the said was lets play and started singing ring around the rosie and when they got to ashes ashes their faces  turned blackish spots like the boubonic plauge they where wearing old fashon dresses and u could hear a man say u little bratz playing while u have a sickness while lets take care of u and u hear gun shots  and th little girls stand up covered in blood and walk away bleeding.

I was staying over at a girlfriends in a bottom front room of a 3 storey house that had been converted into student flats. It was the end building, and had a narrow path between it and the next building. A high locked gate secured the back garden - which at the end was an 8 ft wall deviding it from the graveyard behind.

All the other students had gone home for the holidays, so we were the only two in the building.

I remember locking the heavy front door at night, and the inner rattly glass door that devided the little cloakroom space from the main hall.

Early in the morning we were wakened by the sound of heavy boots running down the stairs - getting louder. I actually felt the floor shake under the footsteps when they crossed the hall behind me, and I heard the front door slam shut, then 3 seconds later the front wrought iron gate squeek open, then bang shut again.

The strange thing was the sound of the boots sounded like they were the old hobnail type - and the speed. It was literaly a run down the stairs, through the door - slamming it , then 3 seconds or less to passing through the gate.

We first thought of burglars - after stuff in the other rooms, so quickly got dressed and went to have a look.

All the upstairs room were securely locked.

At the front door, the inner glass rattly door was still closed and locked, and after opening it, the main front door was still locked with a deadbolt.



There was no time to open and close these doors, or to open the glass door silently, close it silently and lock it. It wasn't the sound of anyone running down the side of the house - because of the high locked gate - and the wooden stairs.

It sounded like they were running THROUGH OUR ROOM.

On another note, I was working as a locksmith, and had to visit an old lady to fit a new door lock. While I was working I started humming " When the red red robbin goes bob bob bobin along"  - I don't know why - not really my thing. But the woman suddenly came up to me and stuttered that this was her deceased husbands favourite song - and he used to hum it - just like I did.  

  I said  - he can't be far away then, which seemed to make her day,..... and just carried on.
