Ears x 4

1st hardly hurt, same with second

3rd and 4th were a little more painful, i probably should have considered havng these done with a gun

2 x rim piercings

incredibly painful, i had both done at the same time, with needles, both shoved in at the same time, with very little freeze.. but their worth it

1 x arm piercing, very little pain, i had no freeze!

1 x scaffold

not very painful, jus a little stinging pain

1x nose

no pain at all, hurts less than my ears

1 x eyebrow

Love it! hardly any pain, alot of blood tho =)

1 x tattoo on my spine... most painful thing iv ever had done =)

My nose felt like someone punched me in the face. My lobe, not as bad but the further up you go the longer it takes to heal. And NEVER pierce your tongue. Not only did it swell and hurt, but it broke a bunch of my teeth.

i have 3 on my cartilage and had one on my bellie botton

bellie botton hurts like h**l!

cartilage does not hurt at all...jsut make sure u dont use a gun but a needle instead or your cartilage could collaps, and cartilage takes up to a whole year to heal...mine still is not totally healed yet...by that i dont mean it hurts for a year it just means its a lil raw for a year and u cant change the piercing for a year....but its worth it :)

but i took out my bellie botton, i didnt like it as much....

right now I have my ears gauged. i have a 8 gauge in. I've peirced almost everything and it basically depends on how much pain tolerance you have. if its like a 0 pain tolerance I really wouldnt recommend getting anything peirced unless you think you absolutely need it

eyebrow-rejects easily, but doesn't hurt to bad

cartilage-industrial hurts really bad...but regular isn't that bad

Had my nose pierced in the same spot on two different occasions. It doesn't really hurt too much. I had my nipple pierced, as well, and that hurt quite a bit more, but that's a more sensitive area.

I got both top and bottom lips done, nose, tongue, eyebrow, industrial, and navel. I think the one that hurt the most was my industrial, i couldnt sleep on my ear for weeks.

I've got my ear lobes pierced, double piercing, didn't hurt at all

I also have a cartilage piercing, it didn't hurt either. It just gets sore for a few days. It depends on how well you tolerate pain.

ive had my nose done.. the first time was like nothing because i was expecting the worst.. yes, the first time.. i went out of the country and needless to say, it got infected so i took it out.. but then i missed it so i had it re-pierced.. it hurt a little more than i remembered but nothing all that bad.. i mean, i did it twice!

it doesnt feel good, but its not that bad.. id get my nose done over my ears any day!

i have/have had -

2 cartilage ones - stung and felt sore for a while afterwards

1 tragus - hurt quite a bit

2 nipple piercings - stung a bit, felt fine afterwards

1 genital piercing - slight pinch, felt fine afterwards

1 bellybutton one - a bit sore, but healed quickly

5mm lobes - hurt like a motherbummer, considering i was pierced with a 5mm needle...

Getting cartilage pierced doesn't really hurt, but it always bothered me when I'd lay on that side on my pillow. It was always a little sore (not infected).

When I got my septum pierced, I'd describe the feeling like that feeling that you get when a sneeze builds up a lot but with an eye watering pain.. but it's over quick, not too bad. The part that hurts the most is the week after you get it done because it's very sore to the touch, especially if you bump it!

My lip piercing wasn't bad either, just a little pinch.. it's such a small guage.

i have my right eyebrow done, i got it done about 3 weeks ago. i went to a small place in my area, with a nice guy doing the piercings.. and it was amazing. of course, being my first piercing, i was nervous. but the only thing that slightly felt uncomfortable was the clamp, but there was NO PAIN AT ALL. i didn't even feel the needle go through. of course afterwards, i had to keep it very very clean.. but all in all, best piercing for you is an eyebrow bar. hope i helped (:

Everyone's pain tolerance is different so asking this question really won't get you the answer that you are hoping for. I got my nosed pierced a couple of months ago and it didn't hurt at all. It was sore after, but the actual piercing didn't hurt. Before I got my first tattoo (lower back, before "tramp stamp" days) people told me that it was going to hurt really bad, well, it didn't hurt at all. My foot hurt like h**l, but so worth it. If you are planning on getting anything pierced or tattooed, just go into it thinking that it is going to hurt, and probably hurt bad, once it is happening you will find out how it feels for you.

Also had my tongue pierced twice (it only hurt after) and my belly button pierced. They hurt for a second and were fine after that.

it was just the clamps :(

and ive had my industrial done which is like two cartiledge piercings connected with a bar, and it hurt a little but the worst part was that you could hear it crunch when she put the needle through :(

I have both of my nipples pierced, thats not as bad as everyone says feels like someone gave you a titty twister then goes away. I have had my nose pierced that made my eyes water. The tounge didnt hurt as bad I as imagened. It was like you bit it then the pain went away. Belly button hurt for me the 3rd time getting it done b/c of scar tissue. But the 1st time was a breeze. Eyebrow made my eyes water (Not because of pain) Just because of it being so close.

I have thirteen piercings lip tounge eyebrow navel lobes multiple times cartilage multipletimes  tragus. none of them hurt and i did most of them myself. Depending on your pain tolerance. i pierced my best friends nose and she said it didnt hurt. any particular questions feel free to email me.

nose doesnt hurt. your eye just waters a bunch.

lip isnt as bad as nose. just the sound of it is a lil scary.

eyebrow hurts. i started to do mine and just quit.

tounge doesnt hurt until day two.

cartilage hurts, but it isnt too much.

2 piercings in each ear lobe,  no pain at all.

belly button piercing, 7 years ago, no pain whatsoever, took a very long time to heal (over a year) but i love it, my stomach would look weird without it now!

and i got my nipple piercing...very very painful, and hurt for 3 hours afterwards...and although it never got infected, i used to get sudden, sharp pains in it...like a trapped nerve sort of feeling lol, so i took it out after a year and a half.

i have my ears done twice, and on one of my ears i pierced it my self at the top.

cartilage piercing, it doesn't really hurt that much either.

I have my ears done twice, lip done previously *twice*, navel, tongue webbing and 3 microdermals..although they're technically not piercings.

None of them hurt apart from the microdemals..although it only hurt getting it done, straight after you feel no pain.

I have my cartilage pierced.  The actual piercing was like a big sting.  It burned for awhile.  It was sore for a long while.  Well worth it.

Okay, on a scale of 1-10 (1 being no pain at all) I'd rate my piercings as follows....

Bellybutton: 3

Auricle: 2

Helix: 2 (when it was being pierced) 5 (when he put the jewellery in and began to twist it etc)

tongue - doesn't hurt to get it done but it really hurts afterwards

navel - really really doesn't hurt at all

tragus - really really hurts - worst one by far for me

top of ear (not sure what its called) - felt like someone had pinched me!

my brothers have both had their lips and eyebrows done and apparently it didn't really hurt that much.

my one brother also had his nipple done - he didn't like that one too much, slightly uncomfortable apparently!

my brother and his girlfriend and his ex girlfriend all had their noses done and that doesn't hurt.

my boyfriends mum also has her nose pierced and said it wasn't bad at all and she doesn't know what all the fuss is about!

no pain no gain, you cant choose a piercing on how much it will hurt, you have to get what you really want done! i love all of my piercings and I didn't get them done on the pain factor! the tragus is one of the most painful piercings to get done apparently and that didn't put me off getting it!

btw - none of us had any numbing creams!

I have my ear pierced at the top (on cartilage) and it hurt the day I got it done (not imbarable) but then it was fine.

I also have my belly button pierced. It probably wouldn't hurt to much. The guy that did mine took a hour to finish though. He was a family friend (legal piercer) and he kept making jokes and talking! It hurt cause it took so long. But again, it wasn't too bad. :)

Just make sure you clean your piercing(s) good! You DON'T want an infection! THOSE hurt!

it's only hurts after the gun is out

you feel your ear burning and very painful for first 2/3 days

don't and i'll say it again don't take your earring out before a month or two i took it out the second week and it bleeded and got infected

I've had ears, tongue, nipples, and clitoral hood pierced.  The only one I still have is the ears and they didn't hurt to get pierced.  I had my tongue done twice and yes, that did hurt, but it's quick and over with.  On one of my nipples, they got the hoop caught when trying to put it in and were tugging on it which about made me ill.  I was told I turned green lol  I don't really remember that one hurting that much though but they were sure sore afterwards!  On my clitoral hood the guy pinched a piece of skin with the pliers when closing the hoop.  I about jumped off the table and socked him.  That was the only painful part of that one.  Out of all my piercings I would say the tongue hurt the most to get.

a good piercer, and it won't hurt so much. Pretty much anything 16ga-12ga, slices thru the skin, instead of being pushed like a stick pin. Reason being, the point of the needle is sharp like a blade. (You can actually make cuts with it.)

Any piercing will hurt, come on, use your head, you're putting something THRU your skin...it's going to hurt.

Be smart about your piercings...get something that can be hidden, instead of something that makes you look like you lost a fight with a tacklebox.

Cartilage - wasn't too bad, a little scratch considering I pierced it myself with a safety pin x)

Septum - hurt like A *****, I screamed all the way through having it pierced...

Nose- It didnt hurt but always fell out.

Belly Button- Hurt a little but wasn't worth it.

Tounge- Hurt. again was not worth it.

I have taken all of these out. Just kept my ears peirced.
