Anyone with a pet gofer?

ok..found a beatup pretty much on the way out baby hybrid gofer.

anyway , its feeling much better now. this breed is very small 4-5 inches adult. whats the chances of taming this critter and would it be reasonable to keep it in a hamster habitat?

no, but I used to.  Gofers are very hard to train and I would keep a gofer in a hamster habitat.

no i dont have that as a pet. but maybe you can just keep him/her in the yard so you can keep an eye on it for a while.(if thats what you asking!) good luck! ♥ ♥

Well, I would actually bring it to a wildlife center. Or, if you want to keep it, I think a hamster habitat would be a little small... Try a chinchilla cage. Hehe... maybe try and see if it will run on a wheel! I wouldn't know what to feed it, though. Maybe ask your friends if they know what to feed a gopher... Good luck!
