Anyone with a similar story?

So have any of you guys had an experience in a "haunted" house or with Jinn or ghosts etc?

This is mine: (worth reading) :D

We have moved out for 6 months from my old house. It's not OLD but NEW.

Anyway, weird things happened in that house *shivers*

For example, if we were up stairs the dishes and taps would be heard in the kitchen. The television turned off a couple of times without anyone touching it. There would be several creaking noises from doors, walls and the floor. Windows would shatter. We would have really bad dreams! Um.. so much happened at my old house. It was the only one since the time in this new build area. Oh and my younger brothers would always point and say with red faces "can you see him" they would refer to this ghost thing as "HIM".

Oh and you would always sense something in the house and if you would be downstairs you would hear many many many noises like a family or crowd are upstairs. And while going up the stairs you feel like being followed. Doors would slam shut out of no where.

And you would see shadows everywhere. Black is usually the color to describe our old house. My sister says she heard " a wailing noise" a couple of times. My mothers window (to her toilet inside her room) would open during the nights. Things are always misplaced and lights would continuously turn on and off. It was a real scary time back then =( so glad we moved houses.

Anyway I warn you .. never stay at a house alone. Please even if it during the day.. you don't know what could happen. =(

It's pretty strange! I don't think i met any Jinns (ghosts) in my life, but sometimes i hear some funny sounds like the floor creaking for no reason but i ignore them. Jinns have very little interaction with us humans, and one should always say Bismillah. It is a strong weapon Allah has given us.. so say it at the thought of a Jinn! Sometimes i feel scared while walking alone in the house when it's night.. when the lights are all turned off... and i feel guilty at the same time cuz it's a sign of lack of faith you know... we should always remember Allah and fear him alone.... a friend also told me that the Angel of Death knocks on your window before he comes to take your soul, but i have doubts in this... sometimes i get happy when after praying fajir and going to sleep i hear knocks on my window... but then i remember that it's just the birds :p   Peace To You

I have this story that happened with my mom, dad and my eldest brother.

They used to live in an apartment. And there was something evil in that house. My brother used to sleep alone in his bedroom and he used to see some kind of body-less face behind is wrestling cartoon figures. He used to see it everyday and cried but my parents thought that he was just having nightmares.

Then, one day my dad put my brother in my mom's bedroom and went to sleep in my brother's bedroom. Now, when he was sleeping, he felt that someone was choking him, holding his throat tightly and telling him " Go away from this house, this is mine" again and again. and when my dad woke up, he was saying kalma tayyaba loudly. And yeah, like you, he ones saw shadows on the wall at night of something that just wasnt around, and it was night.

And one's my mom told him that someone pushed her off the bed hard ( my dad had gone to office and brother to school) when she was pregnant.

I find that reallyyyy scary :S

I once saw someone in white clothes with a beard, in my house in Ramadan ( when me and my mom were makinf Sahar) going to the toilet. I heard that tap turn on and the bathroom lights switch on, but i never saw him get out. Me and mom, we both saw him but we just ignored him. Will you believe it??! we had some unknown man in our house and we just didnt care!!! It is soo cool whenever i think of it.

I have many stories. But, these are the ones that i really find fascinating.

Very interesting stories. But all these are mere stories. A Jinn never enter in to human body it is false. because Jinns are a creation its own world.

To my experience whenever I heared these type of stories, there is no truth other than some psych problems.

Well honestly I have no idea if this was a ghost or not but when i was very little and by little i mean tiny i lived in Qatar.

so one night i was sleeping in the bed between my mom and sister next to me and i don't know but i felt something patting my head and so i opened my eyes a little and saw a big muscular figure with res glowing eyes and white horns on both sides of its head. so i closed my eyes really tight and very slowly crept my hand and garbed my mom's dress and with my other hand i did the same with my sisters and i don't exactly know what i said to myself but when i opened my eyes it was gone.

Please believe me i told my mom and sis they wouldn't belive me i was little but i wasn't dreaming. Who has dreams like that when your a baby.  Still i don't know what it was i wish i did though if its good i'd love to see it again except not in the dead of night and if its bad INSHALLAH it will stay away from everyone!

OH and if your new house starts doing stuff like that then just do a milad.

I was Possessed by a jinn when I was 15 years old.

You can actually feel the Presence of a Jinn when your alone in your Room

OK This Happened about two years ago I was very sick and had been hospitalized for about a month I just gotten Home and I laid down to rest a Little in my room. It was 7 pm and still I had not fully recovered from my illness. For the first ten minutes nothing unusual happened and I was slowly falling to sleep but then at that exact point of time a weird feeling swept over me. I was sweating a lot and I was seeing some weird things like my room was getting smaller or bigger at the same time and I don't know what happened next but I had no control over my body.

I just rose up and was about to push my Hand in the Fan on the Sealing I don't know what was happening to me I tried my best to regain control of my Body but in vain. One or two of my Fingers were already touching the tips of the Fan.

I didn't know what to do So I just shouted for my Mother Luckily She Heard Me and saved me right in time or otherwise my right hand would have been chopped off.

What was surprising was that at that Precise moment  when my Mother touched Me I regained the control of m Body

I have heard some experiences from my cousins..

Here are some short stories..

One of my cousin's father's bro was being slapped by someone at night and when he asked the others if anyone had played a game with him, they surprisingly said no they didnt..

And once my cousin went to beach with open hair and a jinn took control over her and she always acted really horrible at night, she used to laugh, cry in her dreams..she told us that jinns have fed her a lot with thousands of foods, ha ha..Soo neverr opeen ur hairr when it's night or else jinn will take control over you, i always used to find it dum but then i realised how true it is :)

There are good jinns plus bad jinns

Good jinns help people and bad jinns trouble people

And oh yea when anytime a jinn troubles you, never show them u are scared of them or else they will trouble you more cos they like troubling people..Thats what i heard..

And when once electricity went out at our place, i was sittin alone in the dinning room nd then i saw something white, when i told my mom bout it she read Ayatul Kursi at me..

Do u believe in witches? My father's brother's son had seen a bride in her bridal dress askin for lift at like 2 am, he says it was a witch..maybe he was kidding :D

My dad used to tell me all the time about the jinn that lived in his house when he was a kid. Except in all senses this was a good jinn. Every morning, the jinn would use the water pipe outside the house to wash up and pray. My aunt also had a jinn in her house, and she could her it reciting Qur'an every day. Pretty awesome, and pretty spooky.

um well in my old building in gr 7/6

this was about 4 years ago ,

my mom would work nights and i would be home alone ,

and when i was in my room about to go to bed , i would always see this little boy standing out side my room but he never came inside , i would always just stare at him , until eventually my sleepyness would come up with me and make me fall asleep . But also one night i heard these voices coming from the living room saying my name , i went to go look but there was nothing there .

Another thing is when me and my friend were playing with my dolls (this was in like gr.4) LOL  we left the room to go in the bathroom or something and we left the doll on one end of the bed , and when we came back it moved it was like half way on the other side of the bed , and screamed and went to my mom but obviously no one believed us.

And until this day iunno if it was my imagination or if it was real .

Oh and there was this one stair case at the other side of the building that was really scary , like it felt like someone was staring at me or following me or was gunna get me yunno that feeling ? no one used those stares they werent the main ones but .

Also my friend thta lived in the building i was sleeping over at her hoouse , and she went to sleep with ehr mom and i slept in her room , and she said that at night she would see little green men in the bathroom , and when i went to bed i woke up in the middle of the night i saw the little green men in the bathroom too . LOOL i KNOW kinda weird i think taht iwas an imagination though but nee who kinda freaky .

OMFG YES!!

at my old house, i used to live there about 3 years ago, taps would turn on and off without anyone being within 3 meters of them. sometimes when i was looking in the mirror i could see a ghostly figure right behind me.

at night i would hear noises like wailing and a strange tiking noise. i always made sure everything was turned off but yet i heard the same ticking noise but it wouldn't stay in one place like one night it would be on my left the next my right and so on.

i once found my grandmothers jewellry box missing. i culdn't find it anywhere and i thought i was robbed. i went on holoidays a week later and came back after two weeks when i walked in the door the jewellry box was sitting on my dinning table.

also we had about 20 fish. they all died so i got new ones....they died within the first week.

i get really creeped out now and i seriously think there is more beyond the grave no matter how cliche that sounds

I'm convinced that every house I ever enter is haunted by something. One particular occasion I vividly remember is one where I used to live in London and one night I was sleeping on a sofa but I couldn't sleep because I could sense a presence to the side of me. I started to sweat and I felt terrible - almost like I was being carefully observed and glared at by something in the connecting room (the was no door - just a big archway) and suddenly there was a swishing noise and a very quiet cough. I couldn't move or breath and to this day, I can't figure out if my imagination and ears deceived me or if that someone coughing was real. The coughing was right next to my left ear and it was petrifying! Another occasion where I felt like this was when I was trying to get to sleep one night in my own bed. I lay awake for hours, often just dipping in and out of various dreams until, for a moment I felt so awake. I heard a deafening roaring noise in my ears and I felt as though there was some huge black figure standing directly over me, waiting to do something to me. I shrieked my head off and my entire family came running into my room where they found me sweating and crying and so awake. I'll never forget things like that.

OMG! creepiness! I've had some pretty freaky things happen to me and my sis. I had a ghost in my old house, we named him 'Happy' cuz that's what he whispered to her. Yet he wasn't very nice... even scratched my leg once when he tripped me.
