Does it really take 10 years after your end of study date to discharge the loans and file bankruptcy ? Or is it seven ? In any event I am almost there. I am working full time etc but it is just not enough money.

  1. It's 10 years.  But if you file for bankruptcy and name OSAP as one of your creditors, you will never ever get OSAP again unless you pay it all off in full

  2. Yes, it is 10 years. However, I would strongly advise you to pay it off if it is at all possible.
