  1. Just had a quick search. It looks like it's a company breeding sheep and goats, based in Avernes Sous Exmes.

An elevage is a stock-breeding farm.

  2. Orne (61) - Elevage de chevaux et haras - classées par nomEarl De L' Iton Le Bourg - 61380 La Ferriere Au Doyen - Tel / fax : 0233246242 ... Elevage Des Loges Les Loges - 61310 Avernes Sous Exmes - Tel : 0233399699 ...

    tous.les.chevaux.free.fr/elevage_

that's the only thing I've found,it's about horsebreeding

  3. EARL is Exploitation A Risques Limites. the agricultural equivalent to SARL. In the Us legal lingo it would be the near to a LLC (limited liability company).

Elevages des Loges is just the name of the farm. Elevage means, rearing or breeding and Loges is an older word for the farm buildings... (It became lodge in English, even though nowadays the word is used for country side hotels or B&B)

  4. EARL is an abbreviation which indicates the legal status of the company, like "Ltd". Elevage means livestock rearing, and Loges means "lodges", and is a typical countryside property name. So in English this name as a whole would be similar to "The Grange Livestock Ltd".

I have found the company listing, and it does indeed seem to be a sheep and goat farm.
