Anyone with virgin media +?

Hi there, i was wondering if someone can help, iv got virgin media+ and sometimes i tape programmes to its hard drive, i was wondering if there is anyway i can record these programmes onto a dvd recorder, so that i can have them on dvd disc and watch them on a different tv? i am looking at buying a dvd recorder to do it, will it be a waste of time?

You can back up your recordings to a  DVD recorder. The V+ box has a special mode which allows you to do this quickly and easily. You won't be able to record On Demand movies

Panasonic, Phillips ,Toshiba DVD Recorder, most models will do.
