Anyone work at "State Farm Insurance" or "Geico Insurance?"?

AWWWWWWW, I want to get my feet in the door with one of them!!!! I want to become an Auto Claims Adjuster. I applied online but, I want to talk to a live person!! What can I do??? I'm ready for a career move and I'm interested in auto Insurance adjustments. I live in Atlanta, Georgia.

  1. Start applying to all the insurance companies in the area.  Not just Geico and State Farm.   Usually your big companies have more openings. However, in my area Nationwide is down sizing, so there are a lot of experienced adjusters looking for jobs.  That does not mean you won't get a job though. Some companies would rather hire someone with no experience - train them and pay them less than what they would have to pay someone who's been in the business 10 years.

    Do you have a 4 year college degree? If not, forget it. Very few insurance companies will talk to you.
