Anyone work for TSA as a screener? What do you think of the way things are run at your airport? Management?

My neighbor works for tsa as a screener.Based on what I have heard,I would never ever work there.Its a joke!

I do. In the Short time Ive been employed with TSA I think the management is doing a bad Job. They don't read the standard operating procedures. They understaff one terminal so I and others on a moments notice get sent to the other terminal to work. There is no uniformity things are constantly changing and confusing. I get called over and yelled at  for actually trying to help the passengers by bringing bins to the front of the lines because some of my lazy coworkers aren't paying attention and seeing no bins at the front of the lines. I work at a relatively large airport not the size of San Francisco LA or New york. Wont say where  because my boss might be reading this
