Anyone works at Aldi?....?

I'm thinking of applying as a store assistant, and was wondering what the work was like?

In a word, shite. An old ex of mine said the standard of customer, and the staff, nearly killed her with their rudeness.

I've never actually worked for them but applied for the assistant managers position.  Went for two interviews but didn't want to work for them in the end because I don't really like their attitude and work ethics.  They may pay well and I'm not afraid of hard work but they get more than their money's worth out of you.  You may apply for one store but that doesn't mean they will actually give you a job there.  As I was told 'if I send you to Outer Mongolia that's where you will go'.

The high turnover of staff they have tells you a lot about them without anything else.  If you do decide to go for a job with them I wish you good luck x
