Anyone works at McDonald's???!!?

Question

Ok...i just started work at McDonald's and the thing i hate the most is making McFlurries...How the heck do u stop the machine that mixes the icecream with the adding from shooting the lid out at you and hitting u with ice cream? i'm just finding it sooo hard :S:S

There is a switch on the mcfurry machine that turns it off it's the same switch you use when you turn it on

I hate making Mcflurry's too! Try to hold the lid and the cup at the same time- its hard but thats what i do.

Hey there

I just started At Macca's too.

Once you've put the ICECREAM in the blue McFlurry cup AND PUT THE LID ON and the M&M's/oreo make sure you secure the spoon on tightly and hold the cup underneath. Make sure the ON/OFF button's on and hit the WHITE button.

Its a little scary at first but you will get the hang of it.

If you think its going to splatter then stop it for a bit, its better to do a slow job of something and get it right rather then a fast bad one.

McFlurry's are easy to make.  The same switch turns the machine on and off.  As you mix the flurry just rotate the cup.  I've never had a lid pop off.

I hated working there too! What you should do is while working there see if you can get a better job on your days off. and when you feel you have enough work related training go full time with the other job. It's always easier to find a better job when you have one. I've always found them that way.

I did until they fired all the non hispanic workers. We were having trouble communicating with each other so they decided to go with the largest groups, that was people who spoke Spanish only. So out the english speaking ones went.
