  1. I was in a car accident in 2001 and it was used on me over and over again. It did nothing at all for me not even a little! For me it was as if I was wasteing my time.

But others I have heard it did work so I don't know what the deal is. It didn't hurt having it done but yet it was like to me taking an asprin when something hurts and it does not work. Same effect pretty much!

  2. My father had acupuncture to energize his body and relieve muscle tension. He had ALS. Anyways, after acupuncture the body is rather exhausted. After a rest, the individual feels rather renewed. Did it work? From what I could tell for what it was being used for it did, though it didn't really do anything for his ailment.

  3. Having had both accupressure and accupuncture, I can say that the effects are very similar. Accupuncture was done to correct a lazy eye that turned inward, as a corrective alternative to a highly-risky surgical procedure. I still have, on occasion, a lazy eye, but it typically only manifests when I'm sleepy.

For general purposes, accupressure seems to have worked just about as well for other things, though I will have to admit that for internal issues that accupressure really doesn't excel at, accupuncture seems to be good as a next step.

Oh, and: my accupuncture for my eye was done in 1993, and 15 years later I still don't wear glasses any more.
