I have a very close friend who has 2 girls & got pregnant w/the 2 through A.I. W/her 1st daughter she used he sperm of someone she knows & made a legal contract w/him (covering everything from child support to visitation rights) & w/her 2nd one she used a private donor. As much as she gets along w/the 1st donor & as lil as he is involved in her daughter's life she is very happy & thankful that she decided to do it differently w/her 2nd daughter. She doesn't have to worry about always adding a ''dad's name'' on legal documents or having to explain to her daughter why daddy can't always be around. Really it all depends on you & how strongly you want to make it work it also helps if you have good friends & family memebers that will support you no matter what!
