I've had a green card for 14 years and am about to marry a US citizen. Is there anything I need to know in regards to my status? Do I have to inform the Immigration Service? Are there any forms I need to fill out?

  1. Nope, nothing special. You can just get married and not worry about anything.

  2. You need do nothing.

After 14 years you can apply for Citizenship - or not - as you wish. The marriage will have no effect.

    Kind Regards
